Beau's Birthday

Fearing with his "GiGi" Mosley

I am only two weeks behind here but I thought I would post some of these sweet pictures from Beau's birthday lunch at his parents a few weeks ago.  We also did a 'Suprise" birthday cake and ice cream and singing to him the night before after the Auburn/Furman game. My sweet sister's baked him his favorite "Confetti" cake and it was alot of fun!! NOT To mention he had a HUGE suprise at the Auburn Game.... For those of you who were there you know how boring that game was by the end and a little bird told me that Beau was getting a suprise so I had to pull out my mean wife face and threaten to get really mad if Beau didn't stop suggesting that we leave in the third quarter. Hahaha Oh well, luckily I did not have to be too mean and Beau was glad we waited.  Enjoy!

Four Generations of Mosley men. Fearing is the first "Mosley" great-grandson (the first boy to carry on the Mosley name)

** Oops gotta go pick him up - he is yelling for me.  I will post the rest of the pictures soon!

How Great is our God

The splendor of a King,

clothed in majesty

Let all the earth rejoice,

all the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in light,

and darkness tries to hide

it trembles at his voice,

trembles at his voice

How great is our God,
sing with me

How great is our God,

and all will see

How great

How great is our God

Ever have one of those days that you see something as magnificant as a beautiful sunset and it makes you really think How Great our God really is!?! This morning has been somewhat of a struggle for me. I have been fighting a serious allergy/sinus attack for two days. My head literally feels disconnected from the rest of my body. Fearing is fighting off the ear infection plus he too has some serious sinus/drainage stuff going on- with a little cough and it would be really easy to have a melt down. BUT then I thought I would look through the camera and start posting pics on Shutterfly (I'm about a month behind!) and I saw this picture that was taken in Auburn one weekend. How gorgeous. It made me stop and realize that no matter what I think I am dealing with this morning- it is all pretty trivial. It reminded me that I have a God that loves me so much that he creates beautiful sunsets just like this...because he loves us.

Do you have any of these??

Life Saver! Especially being on round three of antibiotics!
Medicine bottle (with measuring marks on the side) My sweet cousin Krista gave it to me for our shower and boy has it been useful!

A "Little Giraffe" blankie. Fearing's Great Aunt Randa gave this to him and it is the perfect size to go everywhere with us. He loves it!! Not to mention it feels like heaven!!

Duckie ( can you tell we are avid NCIS watchers?? Duckie is the medical examiner!) Fearing loves this little duck and we don't leave home without it!

That's all for today folks!

** New Post below too!

3

The number three has several different meanings around here these days...

Fearing turned 3 months old last week. Blow me away! I cannot believe my baby boy is already 3 months old (well technincally he is now 3 months and 2 wks). He is such a sweet, happy baby. I thought I would tell a little about what he is doing now and about when he started his new tricks! At 10 wks he started rolling from his belly to his back- at first it scared him but then he was so proud anytime we put him on his belly he would immediately push up with his little legs and let his bottom slowly fall over. I will never forget the first time I went in his room to check on him after I heard him making a lot of noise around 3 am. He was on his back (read between the lines if you have any questions or comments feel free to email me and I will tell you my philosophy for my decision.) He had the biggest eyes like 'whoa' so I turned him back over and put his paci back in- then this became a game- every 15 minutes or so and everytime I went to his room after that he would just smile so big and just laugh! It was SO funny- just not so much at 4am. After several nights of this he decided it wasn't that funny because he was sleepy. Now he is a pro and it makes my day when I go into his room in the mornings and he is on his back and smiles SO big. It melts me. A lot of mornings Beau and I both go in there before Beau leaves for work and Fearing just smiles and giggles for his daddy- love it!!

Also, at 10 wks Fearing tasted rice cereal for the first time. He was switched to formula at around 9 wks and after several days of a runny nose, and congestion I felt like something was not right. I started noticing that he would wake up with a clear nose and about one hour after I fed him he would be SOO stuffy again, so apparently my mommy gut kicked in and I felt it was a possible allergy (not that I know anything about that!) I took him to his pediatrician and talked with her about it- and we decided it was most likely a milk allergy. I switched him to Soy formula and that did the trick!!
But I guess the Soy wasn't sticking to his bones real well and he was just acting like he was starving every 3 hours again (after 8 ounces!) SO Dr. Millie suggested to go ahead and try the rice cereal. Fearing loved it!! It was So funny. Beau gave him his first bite and he just kept looking at him and grinning. Although I felt like 1 tablespoon all at once was to much for his tummy so I started breaking it down to 1 teaspoon several times throughout the day. That seem to work alot better and he is doing SO great with it now. Dr. Millie is really 'old school' and believes in early feeding and I think we made a great decision with starting him early- he is so much more satisfied and such a big, happy boy! Last week on his actual 3 month b'day when I went to pick him up that morning he learned a new sound. He is doing this really high pitch squel. It is hilarious!!! Beau has really sensitive ears and I knew he would have a come apart the first time he heard him...but he suprised me and died laughing. It is really funny.

Some of Fearing's other new things he is doing involve his mouth!! Everything is going straight to the mouth! Actually Dr. Millie told me yesterday that she thinks he might be trying to teeth- boy do we have lots of slober! Fearing loves his Boppy chair and reaches and graps his toys that hang down. He loves his mat too- it has a little monster that hangs down and he has figured out how to grap it and put its foot in his mouth! Along with the usual, thumb, he loves soft, silky things and he always puts them up to his face and they usually go in the mouth too. And I can't forget his duck. He has this little Infantino duck and he loves it! It makes crinkle noises and it has several teething rings on it and we don't go anywhere with out his blankie and duck! DID I mention we think he is a lefty?? I am not sure if you can actually tell at this age but his left hand is his strongest not to mention that he grabs Everything with his left hand! Beau's grandad is a lefty and we would love it if Fearing is too!

Now back to the significance of the number 3.... Yesterday I took Fearing to the doctor where he was diagnosed with his 3rd double ear infection! Bless his little heart! I can only imagine where we are going with this- but we are trying this antibiotic for the last time and then we will go from there. So far about 2 wks after he finishes a 10 day round of antibiotic he comes down with another ear infection. He is still so happy and smiling but I can just tell he is not himself.

Oh and he his now Almost big enough for his little johnny jumper that his Aunt Megan and Andy gave him. He loves trying to stand up and he likes to move those legs!! He needs to get a little bigger before he will be ready to get in it for a long period of time. But I thought I would share those pictures!

OK Sorry for the really long post- I have a few pictures to share and I will update again soon!

8-4-09

I know that I am ONLY 3 wks (did I say 3 weeks?!?) Yes 3 weeks tomorrow! late posting this but 8-4-09 was a day that changed my life forever!

We finally welcomed our little boy Fearing Thomas Mosley into the world on August 4,2009 at 5:12pm. I was 40 weeks (YEP! for those who know me best I was convinced or hopeful that he would arrive sooner!!) But the Lord had a different plan. I was brought in to be induced at 6 am on that Tuesday morning. After nine hours it was decided that Fearing was NOT coming the way we had intended and that I would need a c-section. I was mentally prepared for it because I knew that I would finally get to see our boy in 45 minutes. The end was in-sight!! There are alot more details that I could go into but I thought I would instead just post some pictures!! Hopefully I will have a chance to go into great detail and document at a later time!

The biggest suprise was his size!! My doctor made a guess on Monday that he was probably about 7lbs 6 oz. He really did not think he was any bigger than that. SO you could imagine when Dr. Johnson pulled him out and said that is a big head...we might have an 8 pounder.... then the nurse weighed him on the scale and Dr. Johnson yelled out 8lbs 10 ounces!!! I was in shock and a tad bit out of it and I looked at Beau and said "what did he say?" Beau confirmed yep he said 8lbs 10oz 21 inches long! Needless to say Dr. Johnson was a little off and he said that he was not afraid to admit it when he goofed! We have ALL laughed about this and how well Fearing hid in my belly! Overall it was a really long day but I had a great doctor and fabulous nurse (more on that later!) and really great support from Beau and our family. I will NEVER forget hearing Fearing cry for the first time. I started crying hysterically and I don't think I stopped crying for at least an hour. It was pure bliss. Beau and I are SO blessed and we Thank the Lord everyday for choosing us to be Fearing's parents. OUR CUP RUNNETH OVER!!

This was obviously pretty early on in the day! Beau said he felt like it was Christmas EVE!! So sweet!

Brand New Boy!

My first time to see him! I was in such Awe!

Our First Family picture! That is one loved little boy!!

Mommy's first time to hold sweet Fearing!

One proud daddy!!

Today I want to wish the best friend a girl could have a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! My dear friend Tiffany has been there for me through thick and thin. She has always been someone who I can count on to pull me through ANY situation. She knows the good, the bad and the ugly and loves me despite of it. Through the past 11 years we have grown closer and it is more and more evident that she truly one of my soul mates. I feel SO blessed to have her and I thank the Lord for our friendship. I love you Tiff!

I know it has been an eternity since my last post, but we have been swamped lately. I won't bore you with the details because that would be lengthy... I will say that I have one growing boy in my belly. At my 32 wk appt. we had the 4-d ultrasound. Fearing wasn't too excited about that. So he had his arm accross his sweet face the entire time. We did see parts of his face just never the whole thing at once. And he weighed in at 4 lbs 14 oz. The Dr. said he would gain between 1/2 lb to 1 pound per week from then on out. You do the math. I am going back to the Dr. on Wednesday where we will try the ultrasound out again. Hopefully he will humor us. But if not it is looking as if we won't be waiting as long as we had expected for his arrival. In the meantime, I have been doing a little shopping. I found the cutest booties EVER for my precious boy! I can't find them on the web- but I did find another pair I thought I would tease you with.
When Beau and I first started dating he talked about his Nanny and her family all of the time. I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Nanny, but unfortunately she passed away after we had been dating about 3 months. There were so many family members from Nags Head, NC that came into town for her funeral... The Fearings. They were the sweetest people and you could tell they were so special to Beau and the rest of the Eady family. So I loved (and still love) hearing stories about Nags Head and the "Cottage" (which belonged to Nanny & her siblings). One of the stories Beau always told was about being kin to "Black Beard" the famous pirate. (Turns out this wasn't exactly true...although I know B and I know he will butter Fearing up really well with this story!) SO needless to say, when we decided to have a baby and more than that when we found out it was a boy...we knew his name would be Fearing and we knew that he had to have "pirate stuff"! Unfortunately, I was not cleared by the Dr. last week to go on our vacation/family reunion this week. So Beau is in Nags Head for the "Fearing Family Reunion" I wish SO bad I was there but there will be a trip with our Fearing in tow come this fall. And don't think he won't be wearing these precious little booties on the voyage!

I can't wait for Beau to get home to show him!! I really can't wait to see Fearing in these booties with the day gown his Nanny (my mom) is making him with the "Ahoy Matey" pirate teddy bear smocked on it!!!

Favorites....

With the summer months finally in front of us, I have found there are several things that I can't live without!! One being a given... WATER! I have never been so thirsty and water is the ONLY thing that quenches it!! Other than that... I have several items that I would consider to be a 'staple' in my daily routine- and a few that are tucked in my bag for the weekends out on the boat.
I have found over the years that I try to block most sun from my face- this comes from a very bad personal experience that unfortunately my bestie Tiff witnessed first hand and can vouch...was a BAD thing!! I burned my face very bad when I was a freshman in college. SO bad that when it peeled I had scars that I thought would never go away!! Since then I do not step into the sun with out this product covering my face!!

I mean it is the good stuff. We like to keep it in the cooler and it goes on like a fluffy cream! I have also become best friends with a hat- I don't discriminate...any hat will do just fine as long as it is blocking the rays from my face! ** This is the only thing I have ever used that does not burn your eyes when you get in the water and it runs...It is A-Mazing!

I have also really come to love this for my lips.

I actually use it on a daily basis... It has a yummy creamsicle type taste to it. It doesn't give that sunscreen chapstick taste either ( you know what I mean!)

And since I am on the "Ocean Potion" I thought I would share one of my all time favorite summer staples:

And I recently picked this up to wear daily and so far..so good. I really like the feel. Not greasy like some can be- it is very light and it smells good too!

AND I have had several people ask what I am lathering my buddha belly in daily to help prevent those pesky little strech marks...

This is it, Bath & Body works- spa works- "Lay it on Thick" it is a creamy moisturizing lotion that is extra thick for ultra dry or ultra stretching skin!! I LOVE IT!! Not to mention that it smells like Coconuts.... OMG take me to the beach daily!!

5-31-08

While I am quite behind on my blogging these days... I wanted to say that it is hard for me to believe that a year has passed since I married my best friend. I would post pictures from our special day but I have none on my computer at work. So I thought I would share another one of my favorite pictures of us from 2 summers ago... Six years have passed since I met and fell in love with this man. I can't imagine my life without him. This morning I have been looking through pictures from our wedding day and it was everything I could have imagined, but more than that our first year of marriage has been more than I could have EVER dreamed it would be. I am so blessed. And now, we are so thrilled and excited that in about 2 months we will be meeting our little boy!! God is good! And my cup runneth over...

This precious little cottage has been making my head spin lately... Actually since beach trip weekend! We had a wonderful time on our getaway. I took very few pictures, I had planned to upload those...but seems that my camera is going abroad for a week. To Spain. My younger brother and sister are leaving Sunday for a trip to Spain with Auburn University College of Agriculture. NICE. So they are borrowing my camera for the trip. Sorry you will have to wait for the boring pics from the beach. Other than that not too much is going on here. Except Fearing and my belly are getting quite big. I have a few pics of that too...but they are on the camera as well.
Back to the house. It is on the market. For 6 wks now. We have been 'negotiating' with the same couple since April 27th now. And it.is.making.me. (7 months pregnant) CRAZY. Oh well. Hopefully it will be behind us soon. I will keep you posted.

If you can't find me.....

It is because I am going here, doing lots of this, with my favorite.

Although I won't be sporting this suit...nor do I look like this any longer, but in a few short ( 2 1/2) months I will be holding my precious little Fearing and it will ALL be worth it!

It will just be a short getaway- but a much needed and well worth it one! I think I can even sweet talk my B into swinging by the outlet mall on the way out of town to pick up some much needed necessities for our boy, as we are quickly realizing will be here before we know it!!

Yes, I do realize it is only Wednesday but once I learned the news that B had booked a condo, my mind quickly drifted away- it will be back...Come Monday.

You can bet your last dollar our weekend will be filled with lots of sand, hopefully sun, and FOOD! Early Saturday you can probably find us at Tacky Jack's sipping on coffee and a bloody mary for B. Well will probably go visit Lucy @ LuLu's too. Oh... how quickly it will pass!

Spring on the Plains

This past weekend we were lucky enough to make our way down to the plains for the A-Day game. I am SO glad we made it!! We had a wonderful time... the weather was perfect, the food was yummy and we got to see some of our Favorite people!! There is nothing like a good tailgate and then a yummy dinner to follow the game! And since we have somewhat of a celebrity in our family these days... we got to do some extra fun stuff. (secret stuff!) Not really, but we felt important! Anyway. I thought I would share a few pictures from our weekend. I will also throw in a couple from Easter... which is pre-iron-supplement**so my color and my hair look like total garbage!! But I thought I would post them anyway.

** I recently had my sugar/glucose test done and my sugar was just fine but apparently my iron was quite low so my doctor put me on some prescription iron pills and I will say- I didn't realize how bad I felt until I started feeling normal again. I was freezing cold, exhausted and overall just feeling crummy... the meds seem to have done the trick. And I have been told my color looks more 'normal' again...besides the fact my poor skin hasn't seen the sun in months and I living for the beautiful weather that is headed our way come Friday!!!**

Oh yes, the Easter pics...

A little bit of this...a little bit of that...

I feel as if I have become increasingly worst at my blogging!! But, we have been super busy at work...which is a good thing! And also at home. We decided to put our little house on the market and we have been busting it ever since trying to get it 'ready' to put up for sale. Isn't that the worst part?!? By the time you get it 'ready' it is easy to lose focus on why you are trying to sell it in the first place!! With my current condition ( not really condition but being 5 1/2 months pregnant is something) I was censored on what I could actually help do to get the house ready. For example, I have some pretty mad trim painting skills- which I was forbidden to use! So I have I had to turn over many of the things I would have liked to have done to others...my Beau, my parents, sisters, and my mom-in-law Martha. It was challenging and honestly I think Beau is SO happy that the sign is up in the yard and he is so glad I finally realized that the list was never-ending with a 70 year old house!! SO, I am content with all of our updating, painting, re-grouting etc and the sign is up!! SO....Now we wait. Hopefully our little cottage will be popular and sell quickly just because this waiting part is kind of hectic. Now, as far as where we are going to move say our little house sells....that is a different story. BUT, luckily we both have wonderful parents who have opened their homes to us as well as two lake houses to choose from if we haven't found a new place. We are staying positive and as my best friend tells me daily- this is how I work. If I didn't have a deadline with a million things going on...I would be lost! Its true. Although I may not feel the same way come June if we are still sitting on this house, looking for a new one and Fearing is coming within a month!! I hope we don't get in that situation, but we are trusting in the Lord to give us wisdom and guidance and we know it will ALL work out!!
In other news.... we have had some super busy weekends lately!! Last weekend was jammed packed full of family fun! My sisters were home for spring break and I had so much fun getting to see them and spend time with them. My little brother was home too, until he flew to New York City!!! Actually, since he is a friend of Aubie, he went with the Auburn University women's basketball team and cheerleaders to New Jersey for the tournament. He had a ball!! We even got to see him on tv!! So exciting!! He had a wonderful time just living the 'Auburn Experience' to the max!!! While I am talking about that... Both Tyler and Taylor received a scholarship through the School of Ag and will be going to Spain in May!!! Yep, it is true!! They are hilarious and just the thought of the two of them (along with 3 of their friends they are in their major with and a professor) touring the gardens of Southern Spain makes me laugh. They have the most unique relationship and are such wonderful kids- I am SO proud of them!! And not to leave Syd out- she too is living it up down in Auburn!! She is about to finished with her first year of college!! I can't believe it!!! She is so smart and is studying really hard and I know she will such an awesome builder one day! ( She is at Southern Union and will transfer to Auburn hopefully in the building science program!). Also last weekend my super talented mom organized a wonderful baby shower for my sisters best friend Meagan! Meagan is going to be a mom so soon!! She is not only a 'friend' turns out we are related. Her grandmother and our grandfather are first cousins...I thought I would share a little background of her so you can have a glimpse of why this was one special baby shower!!
When Meagan was 18 (just a few weeks out of high school graduation) she had ovarian cancer, she had been dating the same guy (Jacob) since 9th grade and they knew they would one day marry... so after such a scary, and heartwrenching experience, they decided they wanted to go ahead and get married. SO, they got married on April 12, 2008. My mom made Meagan the most beautiful wedding dress!! And it was such a fun time. So they knew going into marriage they would not wait long before they had children soooo.... guess what?!? Meagan found out early fall that she was indeed expecting their first baby, who we now know as Jakeley Faith!! She will be in about a month and we couldn't be more excited for her!!! It was a fun day where I got to see many old friends from church that I haven't seen in over a year!
Me and Taylor at Meagan's Tea

Think that was busy?? THis weekend will be busy and exciting too!!! I got an email this morning from our friends the Flurry's and it looks like their little boy Carter will be making his arrival within the next few days!!! I am so excited for Justin and Ashley and I know they will be awesome parents. I can't imagine how cute little Carter will be!! I know that when Beau and I get to meet him it will make us even more ready for Fearing to be here!!!

Best Friends at Auburn Fall 2008

Happy Birthday Keith!!!

And the most exciting part of my weekend....My best friend & my girl soul mate is coming to town!!!! Woohoo!!! Tiff and her husband Keith (who happens to be having a birthday Today!!) are coming to town for a wedding and not only are they coming to town, they are coming to our house!!! It has been way too long since we have actually seen each other in person... (we talk almost daily but don't get to see each other as often, boo!) It is going to be SO exciting. We haven't seen each other in person since I have been pregnant. Although I finally folded and sent her a 'sneak peek' of the belly! I can't wait to see her... So all in all it is going to be an awesome weekend!!! I will update hopefully on Monday!

I thought I would leave a few pics for the wondering minds...
